Mackinaw's fall foliage is world-renowned for its beauty and richness of color. Our area is among the most heavily forested in the U.S., and maple trees make up significant pieces of our woods, so when their leaves begin to turn from green to red, orange and yellow, the landscapes become breathtaking works of art.
